تأثیر تمرینات شناختی حرکتی بر وضعیت سلامت جسمانی و شناختی در سالمندان

زمینه و هدف: رسیدن به سن سالمندی از عمده‌ترین پیشرفت‌های بشر است، ولی کاهش عملکرد جسمانی به ویژه تعادل، راه رفتن و نیز اختلالات شناختی از جمله مشکلات، در دوران سالمندان است که با عواقب و عوارض جسمانی، روانشناختی و اجتماعی همراه است. تحقیق حاضر با هدف بررسی آثار یک پروتکل تمرینی بر سلامت جسمی و شناختی در زنان سالمند ساکن در یک مرکز نگهداری از سالمندان صورت گرفت.
مواد و روش‌ها: در این مطالعه نیمه‌تجربی، ۲۴ زن سالمند (با میانگین سنی ۶/۰۵±۷۲/۴۰ سال و میانگین وزن ۴/۵۵±۶۲/۶۶ کیلوگرم) با وضعیت شناختی سالم که در یک مرکز نگهداری سالمندان ساکن بودند، بصورت تصادفی در دو گروه مداخله و کنترل مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند. گروه مداخله از یک دوره ۱۲ هفته‌ای تمرینات ترکیبی (شناختی-حرکتی) استفاده کردند. آزمون تعادلی برگ (BBS یا Berg balance scale)، آزمون بلند شدن و رفتن زمان دار (TUG یا Timed up and go test)، آزمون رسیدن عملکردی (FRT یا Functional reach test) و آزمون کوتاه وضعیت ذهنی (MMSE یا Mini–mental state examination) قبل و پس از مداخله از افراد گرفته شد.
یافته‌ها: یافته‌ها حاکی از بهبود نتایج آزمون FRT (۰/۰۰۲=pTUG (۰/۰۰۱=p)، آزمون تعادلی Berg (۰/۰۰۱=p) و آزمون MMSE (۰/۰۱۱p=)، در افراد گروه فعالیت بود.
نتیجه گیری: نتایج تحقیق حاضر نشان داد که برنامۀ تمرینی شناختی ـ حرکتی می‌تواند بر بهبود عملکرد حرکتی به ویژه تعادل و عوامل شناختی در زنان سالمند مؤثر باشد. بنابراین به نظر می‌رسد این نوع فعالیت، روش تمرینی سودمندی برای حفظ عملکرد حرکتی و کاهش سرعت کارکردهای ذهنی سالمندان باشد.
