female and mean scores of practice was 228.78 minute per
week for male and 174.41minute per week for female.
Conclusion: Results indicated that students had no optimal
practice towards physical activity. Thus, more attention is

Background: The population of the aged [people] is
increasing in all parts of the world even in developing
countries. The increase of the number of the aged has created
an international trend to increase the quality of life for them.
The purpose of performing this project is to study the impact
of educational interference based on PRECEDE model in
promoting the quality of l ife for t he aged.
Methods: This semi-empirical research was performed on
54 aged people who were under the coverage of Tehran
Cultural House for the Aged in 2009. The aged people were
put in two groups of test and control by using the method
of continuous sampling. For educational sampling, the
designed questionnaire based on PRECEDE model under
the name of PRECEDE model and based on the components
of PRECEDE theory were used. In order to assess the quality
of life, the questionnaire of the quality of life standard of the
World Health Organization (WHO) was used and the quality
of life of the aged people in two groups before and after
one month from the educational interference was evaluated.
Results: The average total score of the components of
PRECEDE model including predisposing factors (awareness
and attitude), enabling factor (skills), reinforcing factors
(personal satisfaction and encouragement by companions),
behavioral factors (healthy behaviors) in the test group changed
as compared with the control group w ith a p l ess than 0.05.
Consequently, opposite to the group control, the quality of
life of the aged people of test group showed a meaningful
difference before and after educational interference with a p
quality less than 0.05.
Conclusion: It seems it will be possible to increase the
quality of life of the aged with educational interference
through PRECEDE model.

Background:The study aimed at assessing the knowledge
and skill of 4 medial related majors regard to CPR.
Methods: Using a the descriptive - analytical design , the
knowledge and skill of 320 senior students in medicine and
nursing (clinical) disciplines with special education about
CPR and health management & public health students
(non-clinical) with potential related education about CPR
during educational course, were assessed by a self report
questionnaire. Collected data were analyzed by Chi 2 or
Fisher, Student t and ANOVA tests in SPSS software.
Results: Most of participants were female. The mean age
of sample was 22.5±2.92. Students which receive special
education about CPR, compared to other disciplines that
receive only related education about CPR, have more
knowledge about it (p< 0.001) but their knowledge has a
considerable gap to ideal situation. The score related to
reported skills by most of student was higher than their
knowledge score.
Conclusion: The findings of this study indicate although
the most of clinical participants versus non clinicians have
relatively good knowledge about CPR but there is an over
estimation between knowledge and skills related to CPR
among them. This needs to more assess as well as the need
to revision in special related education.

How to Do a Systematic Review Regard to Health: A Narrative Review
Mohsen Saffari*

Review articles are divided by two categories including
narrative and systematic reviews. Systematic review assesses
related studies using a scientific planned method to answer a
relevant research question.
The overall structure of a systematic review is comprised of
seeking and finding related studies, apprising them according
to clear criteria, combining the results and presenting them
obviously and succinctly. This type of review helps decision
makers to decide correctly regard to a topic which has
been examined in various studies. Systematic review needs
achieving experience and having enough time and the authors
should have sufficient authority on the topic. Relatively
identical processes have been suggested by different authors
that usually include formulating the research question, setting
the research protocol, literature search, extracting data,
quality assessment, data analysis and presenting the data,
and results interpretation. Performing these stages needs to
consider the protocol or plan that usually has developed by
the authors before beginning the study and following it may
avoid any bios and deviation from the research line.
The sections that are in a research article such as abstract,
introduction, methods, results and discussion should also be
considered in a systematic review article.
